I suppose you would think that my favorite verses would be healing scriptures since I’m so passionate about healing, but they aren’t, although they certainly include healing:

Ephesians 1:3:
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ”

2 Peter 1:3:
“As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue”

If you know what these verses are telling you, you are ahead of most Christians, who beg and plead with God to do things for them.  If only they knew the truth – that what they need has already been provided in Christ!  That’s right, whatever you need has already been provided and your part is to believe and receive when you pray.  Jesus didn’t tell you to beg God to do things for you; He told you to believe that you receive when you pray.  You can only receive something if you know it’s already being offered to you.  Through the Scriptures, you can find out what’s already legally yours under the New Covenant.  Then, instead of begging and pleading, you can receive what’s yours in Christ!
